How long do spices stay fresh for?
Each SAU spice refill bag will have a Best Before End date to highlight when the spices will be freshest. After this date, spices are still safe to consume, but will lose some of their amazing qualities.
Store spices in our tins or another airtight container, in a cool, dry location out of direct sunlight to extend their freshness. Ground spices retain most of their flavour for 2-3 years while whole spices retain most of their flavour for 3-4 years.
